Hair salons get a digital boost – tech collaboration aims to increase sales

Norway’s largest voluntary purchasing organization for hairdressers, Headquarter, has entered into a collaboration with Swedish tech company Digmi. The goal is to give over 500 hair salons access to smart digital signage, effective customer communication, and increased retail sales – directly from the salon chair.

Today, many salons lack a simple and fast way to display promotions and product information while the customer is in the chair. Digmi’s solution allows hairdressers to control digital screens and tablets via mobile or computer, enabling them to update content in just seconds. This allows the salon to show everything from offers and product videos to personalized greetings – without interrupting the treatment.
