Last week, we gathered together with our friends at Voady for an inspiring evening — Cut the Crap — a celebration of courage, creativity, and the power of digital tools in the salon industry.

The night kicked off with drinks, snacks, and good vibes as guests mingled and met new faces from across the beauty world. At 18:30, Voady and Digmi took the stage to officially welcome everyone and share more about our partnership — and how together, we’re shaping the future of salon tech.

Then came a dose of social media wisdom from Michael Barcefer, founder of Michael & Frisörerna, who shared his secrets on how salons can stand out online, attract new clients, and build stronger brands.

The highlight of the evening was the panel talk — “Future Confidence & Opportunities” — led by My from Voady, together with Jon from Digmi, Chriss Berner from NOVO, and Olivia Lennartsson from Sensory Value. The discussion dove into how courage, innovation, and digital solutions go hand in hand — from daily salon work to long-term growth.

We wrapped up with an emotional and motivating talk by Chriss Berner, who shared her personal story of overcoming challenges, turning setbacks into strengths, and leading her salon with passion and resilience.
